The Soledad Historical Society Visits Our Schools – The Soledad Historical Society visited San Vicente Elementary School on Wednesday and presented to our 1st grade classes. They spoke to the students about what school was like in early 1875 and shared pictures of 1875, 1908 and 1928 and also showed some artifacts from those times. The historical society tries to tie their presentations to the State Standards. Did you know that members of the Historical Society are also retired Soledad Teachers! Thank you to Mr. Graig Stephens, Mrs. Kay Handley and Mr. Joe Gribas for taking the time to visit our students.
