FUTURE CHEF COMPETITION – On Wednesday, Sodexo, our food Service provider, hosted a Future Chef Competition at Soledad High School. There were four young students who took the challenge: Breanna Flores Struby, Jonathan Becerra, Delilah Tejeda, and Michael Ortega. Jorge Morales from the Monterey County Office of Education; Monica Pantoja, Board Member; and Pablo Mellin, Chef at Roy’s Restaurant at Pebble Beach, were the judges. Michael Ortega was chosen as the winner for this year’s challenge. Students, get ready for next year’s competition!
