🎷 Exciting Opportunity: Free Student Concerts with the Monterey Jazz Festival! 🎶

We’re thrilled to share that the Monterey Jazz Festival’s Jazz Uplifts! concert series will return this fall, and Soledad USD students have the chance to experience live jazz music performed by some of the finest young musicians in the world!
The One O’Clock Combo from the University of North Texas—a subset of the Grammy-nominated One O’Clock Lab Band®—will be performing three engaging and educational concerts for students in grades 3–6 across Monterey County:
📍 Concert Locations & Dates:

• Tuesday, October 21 @ 10:00 AM – Foothill Elementary, Monterey
• Wednesday, October 22 @ 10:00 AM – Sherwood Hall, Salinas
• Thursday, October 23 @ 10:00 AM – Fairview Middle School, Gonzales

These concerts are free to attend and designed to help students explore jazz through fun stories and performances. Participation is eligible for Prop 28 Art & Music in Schools funding, and schools will be responsible for student transportation.
