CALIFORNIA LABOR MANAGEMENT INITIATIVE – Partnership and teamwork are critical to the success of public schools and districts. Since its launch in 2015, the California Labor Management Initiative (CA LMI) has sought to make collaboration between labor and management an integral part of the continuous improvement of public schools in California. The A LMI works with strong coalition that includes several state education associations. Some of these include: Association of California School Administrators ( ACSA), Ca Dep.t of Education; California School Boards Association (CSBA), California School Employees Association (CSEA) and California Teachers Association (CTA). A Team representing a Labor Management from our District participated in a 2-day training at MCOE earlier this week. We plan to meet and discuss the collaboration effort with a focus on improving student achievement.
