Soledad High School’s NJROTC program took 34 cadets to compete at the All Navy Drill Competition in Las Vegas on February 12!

The event featured programs from northern California, Colorado, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, Washington, and Wyoming. Teams competed against one another in several events, with Soledad taking home the following awards:

  • 1st Place in the Unarmed Exhibition Drill Competition
  • 2nd Place in the Armed Exhibition Drill Competition
  • 2nd Place in the Armed Regulation Drill Competition
  • 4th Place in the Physical Fitness Competition

The Soledad NJROTC program finished in third place overall. It was a great experience for the cadets, as they were able to compete against some of the nation’s best and see their hard work and dedication pay off.
