Uniform Complaint Procedures (UCPs)

The Governing Board recognizes that the district has the primary responsibility to ensure compliance with applicable state and federal laws and regulations governing educational programs. The Board encourages the early resolution of complaints whenever possible. To resolve complaints which may require a more formal process, the Board adopts the uniform of complaint processes specified in 5 CCR 4600-4670 and the accompanying administrative regulation.

The District designates the individual(s), positon(s), or unit(s) identified below as responsible for receiving, coordinating, and investigating complaints and for complying with state and federal civil rights laws. The individual(s), positon(s), or unit(s) also serve as the compliance officer(s) specified in AR5145.7- unlawful discrimination, harrassment, intimidation, or bullying and AR5145.7- Sexual Harassment for handling complaints regarding sexual harassment.
