Posted Date: 4/23/25 (4:33 PM)

We're excited to share a snapshot of the work happening behind the scenes to shape Soledad USD’s Local Control and Accountability Plan (LCAP) for the 2025–26 school year!

The LCAP is our 3-year roadmap aligning goals with resources to improve student outcomes. This year's plan focuses on:
✅ Expanded electives, AP courses, and CTE opportunities
✅ Targeted instructional support for English learners and students needing intervention
✅ Enhanced school safety and emotional wellness resources
✅ Stronger family engagement and communication
✅ Recruiting and retaining high-quality educators

This plan is built with your input! Thank you to everyone who participated in surveys and meetings. Your feedback directly influenced priorities around academic expansion, support services, and staffing.

Next Step: The final plan will be presented to the Board of Trustees on June 11, 2025, and considered for adoption on June 25, 2025, before being submitted to the Monterey County Office of Education.

Please check out the attached infographic for a full summary of our process and priorities!

Together, we're building a stronger future for every student in Soledad.
