This week, we proudly recognize and celebrate our incredible Soledad Unified School District Food Service Team on School Lunch Hero Day, ​Friday, May 1!

Each day, our nutrition professionals do far more than prepare meals—they play a vital role in supporting the health, well-being, and academic success of our students. Through their dedication and care, they ensure every student has access to nutritious, delicious meals that fuel learning and help them thrive. 

Our Food Service Team serves over 1.2 million meals each year, providing breakfast, lunch, snacks, and summer meals to students across our district.  Their commitment to quality, from fresh ingredients to new menu options, reflects their passion for serving our students and community.

Behind the scenes and on the front lines, these individuals greet students with a smile, create welcoming environments, and make a difference in the lives of children every single day.

We thank our School Lunch Heroes for their hard work, care, and unwavering commitment to our students.
