Student Safety Advisory – Recycled Water Project - Main Street Construction Area

Dear Soledad USD Parents and Families,

As construction continues on the City of Soledad’s Recycled Water Project near Main Street Middle School, we are asking for your support in reminding students to stay away from all active construction areas and equipment for their safety.

There is  heavy equipment, excavation work, and active construction activity along Main Street, particularly in the areas leading toward Main Street Middle School and Soledad High School. 

We ask that students:

• Avoid walking near construction equipment or excavation areas
• Stay off closed sidewalks and traffic lanes
• Follow all posted signs, barricades, and directions from construction personnel
• Use alternate walking routes whenever possible

While we understand students may be curious about the construction activity and equipment, safety must remain our top priority.
